Lambros Karanikas, 88, of Lexington, Kentucky passed away
Thursday, February 4, 2021. He was born
on March 8, 1932 in Domianoi, Greece to the late Ioannis and Chrisanthe
Karanikas. Lambros was a chef for the
Imperial House, Ramada Inn, Kentucky Inn and for several other notable
Lexington restaurants. He retired from
Richmond Place.
Along with his parents, Lambros was preceded in death by his
wife; Bonnie Ann Marshall Karanikas, a daughter; Chrisanthe Karanikas and a
brother; Serafine Karanikas.
He is survived by one son; Herman (Debbie) Karanikas, one
step-son; Jim (Holly) Bryan, two brothers; Chris and Tony Karanikas, two
sisters; Helen and Poula, and two grandchildren; Elizabeth and John Karanikas.
Due to Covid-19 concerns, services are private. Lambros will be laid to rest at Blue Grass
Memorial Gardens in Nicholasville, Kentucky.
