Lila Roper Asher, 81, of Lexington, KY, passed away
peacefully at her home while surrounded by family on March 19, 2021 following a
battle with cancer. She was born on March 6, 1940 in Harlan County, KY.
Lila was preceded in death by her parents, C.A. and Lanie
Roper; daughter, Kimberly, eight brothers and a sister. She is survived by two
brothers, James D. Roper of Greensboro, NC and Roger (Janet) Roper of
Lexington, KY as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Milward Funeral Directors are entrusted with Ms. Asher’s
arrangements. A private interment will take place in Lexington Cemetery.
