Nathan Henry Burnett
Monday 17th of March 2003 - Tuesday 30th of March 2021

Nathan Henry
Burnett, loving son and amazing big brother, passed away at the tender age of
18. He is survived by his parents, John and Stacey Burnett, who loved him more
than life. He is also survived by his two younger brothers, Owen and Wright,
who he shared a friendship and bond that cannot be matched. He leaves behind
his maternal grandparents, Edward and Linda Schoeps, his paternal grandmother,
LuAnn Burnett, Aunt Robin Lewis (David), Aunt Lacy Burnett Sheridan (Peter), Uncle Todd Schoeps (Megan), Uncle
Chapman Burnett (Kim Bragg), Uncle Seth Burnett (Julia), and Uncle Daniel
Burnett (Amy) in addition to cousins Sloane, Shea, Parker L, Sage, Brant, Leah,
Levi, Halle, Miles, Anna, and Parker B.
Nathan was a
senior at Henry Clay High School, and was excited about attending college in the
Fall to study Exercise Science/Pre-Physical Therapy. He played baseball at
Eastern Little League from the age of four to twelve, and played for the Henry
Clay Blue Devils for two years. He also played travel baseball for Commonwealth
Baseball Club. He enjoyed competing on the basketball court in the Glendover
Basketball League from the ages of five until seventeen. Nathan worked part
time for Zim's Cafe, and loved his job and work family.
Nathan loved
his friends fiercely. He had a huge heart and was kind to everyone that he met.
He loved his dogs, Jett and Tripp, in addition to spending time with his
friends and family. Nathan loved the outdoors and finding new adventures. He
left this earth doing something that he loved, snowboarding, and this is something
that has given a small amount of comfort to all those that knew and loved him.

saysI was friends with Nathan all throughout middle school and he was truly one of a kind. He was such a sweet and kind person, and never failed to make those around him smile! I will never forget all the memories from the Friday’s spent at Orange leaf, Suggins, and Wheelers together, as they were some of the best memories I hold from Morton. Nathan touched the lives of so many people and was so loved. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this heartbreaking time.
