Hunter Thomas Mazyck
Thursday 18th of February 1982 - Friday 16th of July 2021
Hunter Thomas Mazyck, 39, passed away on July 16, 2021. He is survived by his parents, Hank and Kitty Mazyck; sister, Ann Wesley (John) Boardman; his niece and nephew, Kate and Henry; his uncle and aunt, Thomas and Lynn Roser; his cousins, Tommy (Amy) Roser, Mimi Roser, Elizabeth Corum, and Paul (Tasha) Corum; and his great aunt, Bette Corum.
Hunter left a positive imprint on the world and will be missed by everyone who knew him. He was a generous, kind soul, always willing to lend a hand to those in need. His loved ones describe him as loyal, a true friend, and a protector with a heart of gold. He was deeply devoted to his family and loved them fiercely.
A graveside service for family and close friends will be held at Lexington Cemetery at 1PM on Tuesday, July 20th. Hunter loved all animals so in lieu of flowers the family is requesting memorial contributions to Lexington Humane Society.
We are so sorry for this tragic loss happening to such a sweet family and lovely neighbors. When my husband was wearing a neck brace a couple years ago after an accident, Hunter saw him moving the garbage can out to the street and ran over to do it for him. Lots of love to all of you.
I was Hunter’s roommate at Still Waters for the last few months of my life. He became a big brother to me. A role model. After leaving Still Waters, he made a trip to Nashville to visit me. We spend the weekend eating good food and relaxing at Nashville Shores. He paid for it all. Hearing these news has completely broken me. I thought that I had finally found a life long friend to share my good and bad days with. A friend that finally understood my struggles. I am still in shock and my condolences go out to his family. I loved Hunter with all my heart. He will be missed. It will take a while for me to process the fact that I will no longer be able to hear his laugh or him make fun of me about something funny I said. I know he is in a better place now, and I look forward to the day that we speak again.
Rest in peace we will always remember the laughs and the good times!
Kitty, Hank and family. The news of the loss of your precious son Is heartbreaking. Rich and I are so saddened by this. Bette always spoke so highly of Hunter and shared what a loving son and person he was. Please know you are in our hearts and many prayers are being said on your behalf. Because of my recent lung transplant and having no immunity I have to refrain from attending events! But please know I am carrying you in my heart and so wish I be there in person to support you.
I am so sorry for your loss and praying for the family.
So sorry for your loss, prayers for everyone ❤️
