Anna Jewell Stevens

Anna Jewell Stevens, 86, Lexington, and widow of James T. Stevens passed away on July 31, 2021. She was born to the late Roy Robinson and Mae (nee Camic) Robinson Hungate on June 1, 1935 in Harrodsburg. She was a faithful member of Bryan Station Baptist Church.
Anna worked for many years at Commonwealth X-Ray. Her hobbies included gardening and cooking for family. She served in the church’s kitchen during Vacation Bible School. Most of all, she loved her family.
She is survived by her son Benjamin F. (Lois) Sims, Jr.; one sister, Louise Lewis; five grandchildren, Christina Miley (Michael) Kingery, Jarrod Benjamin (Alexandra) Sims, Kimberly Miley, Janna (Calvin) Ladd, and Jeff (Sarah Lowe) Miley; thirteen great-grandchildren, Kailey, Kindal, Constance, James “Bubby”, Kaleb, Bradley, Aubrey, Jerrica, Bentley, Paisley, Cole, Grace, and Noah.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Anita Gayle Miley, and two siblings, Ruby Cloyd and James Donald Brown.
Services will occur on Friday, August 6th at Milward-Broadway: Visitation 10am-12pm; Funeral 12pm. Followed by burial at Lexington Cemetery.
