My life will forever be changed after the passing of my big sister Christy Pulliam. She was my best friend, confidant encourager, as she spoke her truth in complete confidence. She always manage to make me smile regardless of the circumstance with her wit and her infectious laughter. I will miss my sister with all my heart as I try to navigate this life without her. I love you with all my heart Christy you will always be my big sis.
My deepest condolences to the family of Christy. I remember many times in my young years of walking to my Aunt Doris’s house to babysit Christy, Ricky, and Kelly. When Christy and Kelly became teenagers, they babysat for me. I had not been around for many years during her adulthood. But, I know she will be deeply missed by her husband, mother, sister and all her extended family. Fly free little butterfly with no pain, sickness, or worry. We will all be together someday.

I came to know Christy through my dear friend Kelley, her sister. Christy was one of the most authentic, strong, and lively persons I have known. I loved her laugh and humor, her poise, and independence; her protection of and loyalty to those she loved. Her spirit and fight carried her further than most. I have and will continue to miss her and my heart goes out to all of you.
I met Christy when I was 15 years old at a high school party, we sized each other up and decided then and there we were going to be best friends. And we were for more than 40 years! I turned to Christy for advice on so many things over the years and she turned to me as well. We just understood each other on a deep level. She was an amazing woman, wife, daughter and friend. I loved her dearly. Fly high and keep watch over us dear friend, I will see you on the other side.
Christy came into my life when I was one years old. We became inseparable shortly thereafter as cousins sometimes do. I thought of her as a sister. Christy was bigger than life. She had an infectious laugh and a giving spirit. Christy was fierce and strong. She was not shy to give her opinion. For all these reasons, she was dearly loved and will be dearly missed.
