Marie was our "house mom" at Patterson Hall at UK. She was always so loving to every resident, R. A., and everyone who visited. We loved her so much.
Marie was in the room next to my Mother-in-Law at Sayer. She was always so very kind, and there was never a time she didn’t say hello and wished me and my family well. She will be truly missed.
Judy and Ron, so sad we have lost this sweet lady! I have loved Marie for years and love this picture of her, that is how I will remember her. So many sweet memories at Rosemont and Downtown Church. I had hoped to be with you today but am unable to do so. You and your families are in my thoughts and prayers.
Marie was a wonderful smiling sweetheart, she was loved by many and will be missed. She left a loving impression on my family. Judy and Ronnie you are in prayers and in my heart. Cherish your many happy memories. Love you

Oh WHAT A SPECIAL LADY, mother, friend and inspiration to so so many. I met wonderful Marie when my father (Jim Mitchell) and aunt (Mary Turley) lived at the towers at 2121. Spent many hours in the social circle there solving all the problems of the world. She ALWAYS was sporting that beautiful smile, along with many many kind words. She was an angel on more than one occasion to our family. Hugs and love to each of you as you begin this new journey. Prayers of comfort for all!!!
I'm really going to miss Mrs. Marie every morning when I come in she was the first face I saw walking around saying good morning Honey and smiling .
