Annette Hennessy, 97, widow of James Hennessy, died Sunday October 3, 2021. She was a member of the Cathedral of Christ the King and was involved in volunteer work at Christ the King School, Educational TV, and as a member of the Lexington Woman’s Club.


 

Annette is survived by four daughters, Colleen (Bill) Perkins, Charlene Hennessy, Marian Stamper, and Kathleen (Brian) Bogie; three grandchildren, Dewey (Heather) Perkins, Shannon (Daniel Wiseman) Kelly, Christie (Elaina) Bogie; four great grandchildren, Kira Hennessy, Austin Perkins, Lily Perkins, and Phoebe Perkins and her brother, Owen (Lee) Dignan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Edward Dignan; sister Mary Coogan, and brothers Edward Dignan and Peter Dignan.

 


Visitation will be Thursday October 21st from 4-7pm at Milward-Southland located at 391 Southland Drive. Funeral mass will be at the Cathedral of Christ the King located at 299 Colony Blvd., Friday October 22nd at 11:30am, interment following in Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville at 1:30pm.
