Anne C. Mills, 87, passed away in the late evening of Sunday, October 17, 2021. Anne was born August 13, 1934 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Arthur and Maridale (Grigsby) Booker.

 

Anne loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved teaching the young children in church. She loved UK basketball!

 

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Elizabeth Anne (John) White, Rick Mills, and Sharon (Jeff) Becker; grandchildren, Trey White, Ben White, Kenny (Shannon) Mills, Shaun (Katie) Gamble, Kristen (Chris) Meyers, Amber (Eric) Curtis, Allie Becker, Matthew (Charlene) Becker, and her most  special grandson RJ! Great-grandchildren Erick and Jacob Mills, Kirsten Gamble, Wesley, Wyatt, Sadie, Bowen and Forrest Meyers, Ember Curtis, Braddock and Claire Becker, and her sister, Margaret Bailey, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her brothers Bill Kennedy, Sonny Booker and Phil Booker.

 

Visitation for Anne will be Monday, October 25th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Milward – Man O’War located at 1509 Trent Blvd. Service will begin at 1:00 pm with Ronnie Hupp presiding and will be followed by interment in Lexington Cemetery.
