Havertys - St. Louis Team
saysThe Havertys - St. Louis Team would like to offer our deepest heartfelt condolences to Sherry, Marty's three son's, mom - Phyllis and the Richardson family. Marty had been a valued member of Havertys since he joined in 2005 as the selling manager in Louisville. He served as a branch manager at our stores in Louisville and Birmingham markets throughout his career. He was not just a co-worker but also a good friend. Marty will be greatly missed.

saysSherry, and family.....oh! I couldn't be more saddened to hear this news. I was trying to get in touch with Marty today about something unimportant...when I hadn't heard back, I thought I'd try to look up your info online, and saw the announcement from Milward Funeral Homes. My stomach just dropped. I called my wife immediately. We are so so sad. We know where he is (and we know he has a new body and is a free as a lark), but we are grieving with you and your family. Sending you our hugs and prayers. Please let us know if there is anything we can do! We're just heartbroken....he was such a good guy....fun and lovable from the first interaction, and clearly a man of faith. May God comfort you like only He can, when others' best attempts fall so short. Thankful we grieve with hope. (1 Thes 4:13).
