Linda Joy Spencer, 81, passed away Friday, November 5, 2021. Linda was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on April 11, 1940 to the late William and Lillie (George) Nicoll.


Linda wed Herbert Spencer in 1962 in Pittsburgh and later moved to Lexington, KY. Together, they celebrated 57 years of marriage until his passing on February 17, 2019.


Linda will be remembered for her sharp wit, undying loyalty and love of her grandchildren. She was an avid learner and was committed to the education of her children and grandchildren. She and her late husband enjoyed traveling the world, houseboating on Lake Cumberland and skiing in Northern Michigan with friends and family.


Linda is survived by her children, Amber (Chris Wright) Spencer and Grant (Mollie Wood) Spencer; grandchildren, Garrett, Cameryn, John Mason, and Cuyler Spencer; sister, Sarah (Naeem) Nicoll Malik; nephew, Rasheed Adam Malik, and niece, Nadia Malik.


A memorial gathering to celebrate Lindas life will be from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, Saturday, November 13th at Milward – Southland located at 391 Southland Drive.
