Tavon Max
Chelvarajan, 25, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021 at home surrounded by
family. Max was born in Lexington,
Kentucky.
Max attended
Lexington Catholic and Tates Creek High Schools. He earned a black belt in Tae Kwon Do from
Lexington Tae Kwon Do Academy. He had a
lifetime passion for soccer, skateboarding and cooking. He spent many summers during middle and high
school providing service to others through REACH Mission Trips and Camp
Burnamwood Appalachian Ministry, both in and out of state. He attended the Newman Catholic Center his
first few years of life, developed spiritually at Camp Burnamwood in Irvine,
Kentucky, and was a member of Second Presbyterian Church, Lexington, KY.
Left to
cherish his memory are Max’s parents, Lakshman Chelvarajan and Nicole Nicholas; daughter, A'Miyah Jayde Chelvarajan Sizemore; sibling, Ricky Chelvarajan; grandparents,
Lawrence and Constance Nicholas and Edmund Chelvarajan; best friend, Nicole
Young; foster family, the Rolfes-Cottrill Family; birth mother, Tabatha Wright;
and many cousins, aunts, uncles, foster
and birth siblings, and friends who will all miss him.
For all who
have been blessed to have shared life with Max, may his contagious smile and
kind heart continue to bless you in your life.
Visitation
will be Wednesday, November 24th from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Milward
– Man O ’War located at 1509 Trent Blvd. with a short service beginning at 2:00
pm. At the request of the family, guests are asked to observe mask usage during these events.
In lieu of
flowers, please donate in Max’s name to a charity of your choice.
