Edward K. Rosenberg, Jr., 61, passed away on November 20, 2021.  He was known to many as Eddie, Ed, Dad, Daddy, Pops, and Papaw.

Born December 26, 1959 to Beatrice (Stillman) and Edward K. Rosenberg, Sr. in Yeadon, PA.  He graduated from Jeffersontown High School, Louisville, KY in 1977 where he met his wife Karen Konermann Rosenberg and married on November 29, 1980. They lived in California for about 3 years, then returned to Kentucky and made their home in Lexington.  That is where he started his own business, Irrigation Specialist over 32 years ago.  It’s still thriving as of today.  He was very proud of and loved his business, where many customers became his cherished friends.

He joins in Heaven, his Father, Edward K. Rosenberg, Sr., his Brother, Steven Rosenberg: his in-laws, Frank and Joan Konermann and other family members there to greet him.

In addition to his loving wife of almost 41 years, Karen, he leaves behind his beautiful, loving, Daughter Nicole Brown (Josh) and his handsome, loving Son Sean (Kristin) Rosenberg.  His mother, Beatrice Mary Louise Rosenberg, sisters, Debora Rosenberg and Barbara Abney, and many nieces and nephews.  His pride and joy, he loved being called Papaw or Pops by his grandchildren:  Morgan Elizabeth, Jacoby Bascom Brown and Wesley Morgan Rosenberg.  His friends, extended family and his cherished customers.

Services will be held at Milward-Southland, 391 Southland Drive, Lexington, KY, Friday, December 3, 2021.  Visitation will be held 3:00-6:30 pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 6:30.  Afterwards visitation will continue until 8:00 pm.

Karen, I was shocked to hear about Ed. I’m terribly sorry for your loss. As you know Ed and I befriended each other in 1997 and became great friends. It was just last season I met him on a job site. He will definitely be missed by many. Chris
