Celebration of Life
Michelle A. “Shelly” Jacobs, 47, passed away
the evening of Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Michelle was born in Lexington,
Kentucky to the late Harry and Barbara (Dugan) Jacobs on October 1, 1974.
Shelly was in the research accounting
department at the University of Kentucky. She held a Master of Business
Administration from UK. She loved her dogs and enjoyed gardening and
knitting. Shelly was a very loyal friend
and loved music. She adored sitting outside to enjoy the sunrise with her
morning coffee.
Left to cherish her memory is her partner of 26 years, Jeff Lyons; sister, Lee Anne Jacobs (Jason) Reilly as well as multiple aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, January 17th
from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Milward – Southland located at 391 Southland Drive.
A service to celebrate Shelly’s life will begin at 1:00 pm with interment in
Lexington Cemetery to follow. The family respectfully requests that guests attending visitation and service to please where a mask.
In honor of her legacy and in lieu of flowers,
please direct memorial donations to the Humane Society or the Leukemia and
Lymphoma Society.
