Charles Edward Shinnick

Charles Edward Shinnick, 91, devoted husband, died Fri., Jan. 21, 2022, at his residence.  Born Jun., 26, 1930 in Evanston, IL, He was the son of the Late Frank and Marguerite Shinnick.  He was a retired Lieutenant Colonel of the US Air Force.  He was a graduate of the University of Kentucky, and an avid UK Wildcat fan. 

Survivors include his wife, Delores Shinnick, one son, Blake Shinnick (Jodi) and one daughter, Janice Baxter, numerous grandchildren and many great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held Friday, January 28th, at 2:00pm,  at Milward-Southland, 391 Southland Dr., Lexington, KY.  Burial will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens, Nicholasville, KY.
