Michael
M. Sherman, 64, passed away in Lexington on Saturday, March 5, 2022. Mike was
born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Arthur George and Edna May (Rheel)
Sherman on July 26, 1957.
Mike
began his education at Columbia University and eventually earned his degree in
I.T. He was an I.T. consultant working in various capacities in New York, Ohio,
and eventually Kentucky. Mike treasured his wife, son, his extended family, his
faith and the outdoors. He inspired his family with his eclectic stores and
gifts and also widened their horizons and opened their minds to learn.
Mike
is survived by his loving wife, Melissa; son, Michael “MG” Sherman; siblings,
Mary (Joseph) Fontana, Joan Raftery, and Arthur (Alice) Sherman, as well as
several nieces and nephews. Mike’s sister, Cecelia Sherman and an infant brother,
preceded him in death.

Funeral Directors are entrusted with Mike’s service arrangements. Visitation
will be Saturday, March 12th from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at
Cathedral of Christ the King located at 299 Colony Blvd., Lexington, followed
by mass at 11:30 am.
