Josephine Mary Collins

Josephine Mary Collins, 96 and widow of Logan Collins passed away June 16, 2022. She was born to the late Frederick and Mable Widdowson Ansell on May 10, 1926 in London, England.

Josephine met her dear husband in England while he was recovering from injuries suffered while serving our nation in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Her hobbies included reading, knitting and crocheting.

Josephine is survived by three children, Theresa Collins, Deborah Kanatzer (William), and Curt Collins (Terry Neal); 9 grandchildren: Richard Eversole, Logan (Cyndi) Eversole, Katrina (Chris) Evans, Angelique Chrisman (Steve Anderson), Gwen Hawks (Deceased), Shannon (Mark) Elliot, Timothy (Denisa) Collins, Leslie (Amy) Collins, Sheena (Corinthian) Whiting; and 17 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanette Eversole.

Visitation Wednesday from 6pm-8pm, Milward-Southland. Funeral Thursday, 10 am, Milward-Southland. Burial will follow at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers include Richard Eversole, William Kanatzer, Mark Elliott, Corinthian Whiting, Larry Humes, and Tim Collins. Honorary pallbearers:  Leslie Collins and Corrianna Whiting.
