Ella Jean Johnson

Ella Jean Johnson, 94, passed away in the late evening of Tuesday, January 10, 2022. Ella was born in Dothan, Alabama to the late Hardes and Lela (Cobb) Cook on September 5, 1928.  

Ella served in the United States Navy where she met her husband, Ronald G. Johnson and together, they celebrated 64 years of marriage until his passing in 2014.

Ella is survived by her daughter, Elissha (Wes) Waltrip; grandchildren, Amy Moldrem and Lesley Hatfull (Wes), and great-grandchildren, Madeline, Charlotte, Laurel, and Kaley.

Graveside service at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, January 17th at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
