Mary Lee Gibbins

Mary Lee Gibbins, 75 and wife of Aylette “A.J.” Gibbins, Sr., passed away January 14, 2023. A Lexington native, she was born to Nettie Eversole Means and the late Glen Means on February 4, 1947. Mary attended Daybreak Community Church of Lexington. She is remembered dearly by her family as a loving wife and mother.

In addition to her husband and her mother, Mary is survived by two children, Aylette Jefferson Johnson Gibbins, Jr. and Nettie Marie Gibbins; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many brothers and sisters. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one child, her namesake: Mary Lee Gibbins.

The visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 17^th, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Milward-Southland. The funeral will occur on Wednesday, January 18^th, at 2:00 p.m., also at Milward-Southland. Her burial will follow at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Officiating: Rev.
