Funeral Service
Mary Margaret Wright Shore, 86, of Lexington,
and widow of Joseph Shore passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, March
9, 2023. Margaret was born to the late David Wright and Susan Fowler Wright on
June 21, 1936 in Marion County, Kentucky. She was a Christian lady, Baptist by denomination.
Margaret became a
CPA after she earned a B.B.A. in accounting. She employed her professional
talents in several spheres, among them was her work in Personnel Payroll at
Fayette County Public Schools. In recent years, many Central Kentucky small
business owners have relied on her services.
She is survived by
two daughters, grandchildren, other family members, and close friends. In
addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Rebecca
Wright Buckman.
Services Tuesday,
March 14, 2023 at Milward-Southland: visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00
p.m.; funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Entombment will follow at Lexington
Cemetery.
