JoAnn Downing Foxworth, 85, wife of the late Donald Gordon
Foxworth Sr., passed away on March 13, 2023.
She was born in Lexington, Kentucky on February 5, 1938, the daughter of
the late John Otis and Catherine Rose Downing.
She was preceded in death by two brother, Paul and David Downing. She graduated from Fugazzi Business College
and was employed by the Locker Room Sporting Goods and the Lexington Clinic. Her
hobbies included cross stitching, ceramic pottery making, and playing
Bunco. She was an avid fan of UK
Basketball.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Donald Gordon
Foxworth Jr. and Gary Foxworth; four grandchildren, Tripp Foxworth, Bailey
Parmley and her husband Chris, Austin Foxworth, and Jessica Neal and her
husband Tucker; three great grandchildren, Cambrie, Collyns, and Cohen Neal;
and her brother, Phillip Downing.
A graveside service will be on Wednesday, March 15, 2023,
12:00 pm, at the Lexington Cemetery.
