I had the privilege of meeting Dr. Edelstein while playing tennis. I will always remember how nice and kind he was to me. He was a brilliant medical doctor and a fine human being. My Prayers are with the Edelstein Family.

The Goldman and Edelstein families went on shared beach house vacations together and I will always remember Steve as kind and caring from those experiences. My condolences to Karen, Ellen, David, and the extended family.

Because Steve had a first-class mind and strong work ethic, he was learned, highly respected and a successful, admired leader in his field. As a friend, neighbor, and physician, Steve combined being a realist with compassion and a strong sense of social responsibility. As a result, he improved his profession, helped prolong the years of thousands in Lexington and Eastern Kentucky, and enriched the lives of all who knew him, worked with him, or were ministered by him. We are most grateful for having been able to share much of our lives with our dear friend Steve, and join Karen, Ellen, David, Michael and Jacob in mourning our loss. He and they remain in our hearts.
