Victor Hugo Sigüenza

Victor Hugo Sigüenza, aged 73, husband to Carmen Santos De Sigüenza, passed away on March 16, 2023 in his home in Lexington, KY, surrounded by his loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents Miguel Ángel Aguilar and Anna Maria Sigüenza Rodriguez; his brother Luis Fernando Sigüenza; and his sister Ana Gladis Sigüenza. He is survived by his wife Carmen; his brothers Miguel Ángel Sigüenza and Edgar René Sigüenza; sons Victor Hugo Sigüenza Junior (Jennifer Michelle Napier Sigüenza), Isaac Eduardo Sigüenza (Nadia Yarely Molina), and Josué Elí Sigüenza (Bailey Laine Sigüenza); daughters Raquel Emilia Collins (Andrew Collins), Carmen Melody Sigüenza-Chapman (Michael Bradley Chapman), and Rosa Mercedes Southern (Andrew Mauro Southern); grandchildren Evolet Anabella Lace Molina-Sigüenza, Elizabeth Grace Sigüenza, Isobel Emma Sigüenza, Tatyana Emilia Mullins, Gabriel Victor Southern, and Oliver Snow Isaac Collins; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends.

Victor was born in San Salvador, El Salvador and immigrated to America in 1982. He married his wife and best friend Carmen on November 19, 1983. Victor and Carmen raised six wonderful children, moving from California to Texas to Kentucky, and have spent their golden years talking for hours each day about the Bible and their family. Victor was an incredibly talented musician, finding much joy in playing the piano and accordion, and was a devout Christian his entire life. While living in El Salvador, he did Christian mission work and helped found several churches. Victor was a piano tuner by trade and worked passionately on the pianos of his clients to ensure the instruments were able to produce the most beautiful sounds possible.

Victor’s family cherish their memories of him giving lessons from the Bible, playing music, and sharing his hard-earned wisdom for the betterment of their spirituality. His love was unending and unconditional. He was kind and patient, funny and wise beyond measure. He embodied the Bible verses Psalm 23:1-6 (KJV), and the family will continue to lean on the wisdom in that verse for comfort. He also believed the Bible verses Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV) were a clear directive for those choosing to walk in faith. Victor will be forever missed by his family until they can be reunited in Heaven.

Precedido por sus padres Miguel Ángel Aguilar y Ana María Sigüenza Rodríguez; su hermano Luis Fernando Sigüenza y su hermana Ana Gladis Sigüenza. Victor nació en San Salvador, El Salvador y emigró a Estados Unidos en 1982. Se casó con su esposa y mejor amiga Carmen, en Noviembre 19, 1983. Victor y Carmen criaron seis hijos maravillosos. Se mudaron de California a Texas y luego a Kentucky, habiendo pasado sus años dorados hablando por horas de la Bíblia y de su familia cada día. Victor fué un músico increíblemente talentoso, quien disfrutaba grandemente tocar el piano y el acordeón y fué un devoto Cristiano toda su vida.

Cuando vivía en El Salvador, hizo trabajo misionero Cristiano ayudando a fundar iglesias.

Victor se dedicaba a afinar pianos y trabajaba apasionadamente en los pianos de sus clientes asegurándose que los instrumentos produjeran los sonidos más bellos posibles.

La familia de Victor atesoran los recuerdos de él dando lecciones Bíblicas, tocando música y compartiendo su conocimiento para el engrandecimiento de la espiritualidad. Su amor fué sin fin e incondicional. Fué amigable y paciente, divertido y muy sabio. Él hizo suyo los versículos de Sal 23: 1-6 y la familia continuará apoyándose en ellos para su consuelo. También creía en los versículos de Ecl 12: 13,14 dondo las instrucciones son claras para los que deciden caminar en la fé. Víctor será extrañado por siempre por su familia mientras se puedan reunir de nuevo en el cielo.
