David "Zack" Zachari

David “Zack” Zachari, 56, passed away at his home on Saturday April 6, 2019. Zack was born to Edward K. and Lillian Sue (Singleton) Zachari in Louisville, Kentucky on March 18, 1963.
Zack was an extraordinary cook. His culinary skills have graced such eating establishments as Morrison’s/Piccadilly’s and recently, Sutton’s. He loved to cook and teach others about cooking as well. He also enjoyed capturing and recording his family’s life events and special occasions. Zack was a great mentor, man of his word, but most of all, he was a dedicated husband, father, and “Pappy”.
Zack is survived by his loving wife, Joy; sons, Michael (Joanna) Wyatt, Richard (Jeanette) Walters, Joshua (Ginny) Zachari, and Thomas (Blake) Zachari; father, Edward K. Zachari; brother, Kinny Zachari; sister, Anne Zachari, and grandchildren, Tommy, Navee, Katie, Carter, Eli, Haylee, Rocky, Lilly, Grayson, as well as one more grandchild on the way. Zack was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Zachari.
Family will receive friends on Sunday April 14th from 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Milward – Man O’War, located at 1509 Trent Blvd., Lexington with funeral service following at 6:00 pm with Rick Shelby officiating.
