Francis Kenneth “Kenny” Griffin joined the angels on November 29, 2019. Born September 26, 1946 to Sterling R. and Nancy Marguerite (Utley) Griffin. In addition to his parents, two brothers, William “Bill” Griffin and James Griffin, and first wife Joyce Griffin preceded Kenny in death. He retired from Lexmark after 35 years. Always willing to go the extra mile he helped with many activities at St Peter Catholic Church and proudly served in many capacities in his 25 years with the Knights of Columbus (Fourth Degree).

He, his many stories, mad bowling skills, sense of humor and ready smile will be missed by those who survive him: Siblings Tom Griffin, Sterling Griffin, Gary (Terry) Griffin, Sharon Yates, Ann Holdefield, Etta (Vaun) Warner and Walter (Carolyn) Griffin, stepson, John (Barbara) Curry, Sr., grandchildren, Andy Curry, John (Jennifer) Curry, Jr and Amber Curry and Lily Curry. Stepchildren from his second marriage, Teri (Jeremy) Bell, Jackie Williams and Billy Jack Brown and their mother Margaret Price, Granddaughters Autumn, Hilaena, and Kori Bell and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.  He continued to hold close in his heart Jason, Isaiah and Rosie.

Visitation will be at Milward’s on Broadway Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 5-9pm. Funeral Mass will be at St. Peter Catholic Church Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 1:30 pm with burial to immediately follow at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens.

Kenny will be sorely missed by his St. Peter, St.Peter and Paul KOC families. We could always depend on Kenny for setting up, cleaning up, picking things up etc. etc Donuts ,Fish Fries, Church Picnics, KOC events, will not be the same. The KOC bowling league will miss him as well (he always seemed to bowl his best against our team). He was a true friend and outstanding Knight in every sense. May God hold you in the palm of His hand!
