Jesús Ocampo Geronimo, 32, of Lexington and husband of Jessica Angel Cahill Ocampo passed away on September 12, 2020.  He was born to Pedro Ocampo Hernández and Matilde Geronimo Palafox on December 30, 1987 in Metepet, State of Puebla, Mexico.  Jesus worked at International Crankshaft in Georgetown.

Jesús relished watching his oldest son Jameson play soccer, as well as cooking with his youngest son Jayce.  He was a member of the Lexington Athletic Club, where he was an avid weightlifter, and enjoyed the camaraderie among other weightlifters. He will also be remembered for his ability to bring humor to almost any situation.  He valued his friends and neighbors, and cherished his mother, brother, and sister. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family. He was an ambitious man, wanting to do his best for his wife and their sons.

In addition to his loving wife and parents, Jesús is survived by his dear sons, Jameson and Jayce Ocampo; brother Alfredo Ocampo; sister Xochitl Gallardo; and in-laws, Rob and Lori Jameson.

The visitation will occur on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Milward-Man O’ War.  The visitation will be followed immediately by a prayer service at 8:00 p.m., also at Milward-Man O’ War.  Very close friends are welcome to attend his Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.  Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
