John Francis Clines Jr.

John F Clines, Jr., 59, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 after a brief illness. John was born in Louisville, KY to John and Patricia (Schultheis) Clines on October 24, 1960 and grew up in Lexington, KY. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, he was a long-time employee of Pieratt’s Appliance in Lexington. John was an avid sports fan and had an amazingly encyclopedic knowledge of sports information. He also enjoyed writing, playing the guitar, and solving challenging crossword puzzles. John was a soft-spoken man with gentle heart and will be sorely missed by his family and friends. In addition to his parents, John is survived by his sister Mary (Clines) Sofo, brothers, Charlie (Tammy) Clines and Steve (Melissa) Clines, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for John will be from 4:00pm -7:00pm Friday, October 16th at Milward – Southland, 391 Southland Drive in Lexington, KY. His funeral will be held at noon on Saturday, October 17th at The Cathedral of Christ the King, 299 Colony Blvd, Lexington, KY.

I walked by his home everyday for 6 years. He had a dog when I first moved in the neighborhood and he loved that dog. He would pick it up and take it outside, it was ill. I am sorry for your loss and pray he is in a better place.
