Pamella Fay McKenzie, 70, of Lexington, passed over peacefully on Wednesday, November 11, 2020. She was born on February 17, 1950, in Kingston, Jamaica to David Martin and Isabel Henry. She married Dudley McKenzie on December 17, 1977, and he survives.
Also surviving is her mother, Isabel Henry of Jamaica; her four children, Paul (Mary) McKenzie of Georgetown, Sharon (Ruel) McKenzie of Lexington, Teddy (Jovonda) McKenzie of Georgetown, and Sheldon (Ashley) McKenzie of Union; grandchildren, Alex McKenzie, Lanse McKenzie, Chanse McKenzie, Pierce McKenzie, Maimouna Mark, Keke McKenzie, Elias McKenzie, Izzy McKenzie, Mia McKenzie, and Laila McKenzie; four sisters, Patricia Martin (Mills), Angela Martin (Johnson), Ann-Marie Menzies, Pammy Menzies (Bryant); two brothers, Keith Martin and Danny Martin; and a host of family and friends to mourn her passing.
Pamella’s father preceded her in death.
Pamella spent 20+ years at Excelsior Biscuit Company in Jamaica. Upon her arrival to the U.S., Pamella served as an in-home caretaker. She was a member of the Pentecostal faith.
*Due to the new State of Kentucky mandate, the visitation and funeral service will be private, on Saturday November 21, 2020, Milward-Southland. Private Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
